When finishing with my physical therapy, I was told to join a gym to continue stretching out my neck and back muscles.
Kayla started by assessing my physical needs and goals and I was shocked. She pinpointed how daily bad habits had irritated those muscles as well as other areas that needed work. Kayla had to go back to basics with me. She is extremely knowledgeable on neck and back issues and provided stretching and breathing exercises as homework to assist the workouts. Her workouts are customized to my needs and are never boring.
In order to compliment my workouts, I needed to change my diet. Kayla went the extra step to help me with food options and plans.
Learning new movements can be a challenge. Kayla is patient and thorough in making sure I understand how to perform these movements correctly. I can be frustrated with myself, but she is always encouraging me in a way that makes me want to work harder.
