In my 20 years competing as a competitive age group, college, and national level professional swimmer, I was made well aware of how the body works well as a whole and how, when we are balanced, we move and feel a lot better. I believe in training the body as a whole and working to create an exercise routine that is challenging but is also sustainable. I also believe that true strength comes from the core and it is the best foundation to support us when we start to lift heavier weights.
