Training Philosophy

Fitness doesn’t have to be complicated. As a personal trainer, my job is to make sure that my clients reach their fitness goals and peak optimal health. During the evaluation and assessment phase, I pay close attention to client’s physical issues and how the body moves. By doing so, I am able to determine what type of exercises and weights the client might need. I use tools and equipment like TRX, Kettle Bells, Dumbbells, Sand Bags, Medicine Balls, Bands, Sled and so on as part of my training. I always believe that training should be interesting and fun. I make sure that my clients understand the important role of clean eating and hydration as part of healthy lifestyle. But the most important part of my training is educating my clients the significance of proper form during exercise and beyond.

Working out everyday can hinder your progress if done improperly and does not guarantee results or progress, but with the proper and personalized guidance, you can see results training only 2-3 days a week. Going to the gym should be a fun and challenging experience; not one filled with fear. I have a passion for helping others and educating them along the way, putting over 10 years of experience and knowledge to practical use. If you suffer from pain or injuries, I believe in identifying the problem and fixing the problem. Exercising should not result in pain or aggravating injuries; you should be able to come into the gym and feel better than you did when you are leaving. I played college soccer, I’m a Jiu-Jitsu Blue Belt, and I grew up running, skateboarding, hiking, rock climbing, and kayaking. Living a very active lifestyle has caused me to have a high-performance approach to Personal Training that improves movement outside of the gym. I am obsessive about results and an exercise science junkie! If you have a specific concern or a unique goal, you can trust that I will scour the most reputable sources for the latest science to develop a solution catered to those needs.

Lastly, I am passionate about helping people, regardless of where you are in your fitness journey- whether you’re trying to elevate yourself out of an unhealthy lifestyle or trying to optimize the results of the hard work you are already putting in, it is my solemn duty to help you achieve your goals!
